New felt bag
I promised my niece a new handmade bag for Xmas. Although a little late, I hope she'll be happy with the results. Plus I was able to make use of a gorgeous brooch I received in the mail.

AWESOME felt badge
Here is a badge I made for m's ANTS IN YOUR PANTS sport coach who was having a birthday. He's such a great guy with a big personality and perfect for the kids. m picked the colours. The tiger mask is what I made m to wear for the dress up celebration. I made a matching tail but m preferred to wear the mask only. It's a bit rough around the edges as I made it the night before we went to the park, but it was a good prototype for future felt mask craftiness!

Quick Kindy gifts
Last Christmas I quickly made up a few little goodie bags for the carers at m's kindy, to say thankyou for all their hard work over the year. Here are the snaps ...
I decorated some brown paper bags with some of m's drawings, and filled them with handmade candy; a vase, flower and photoframe (from IKEA); and two herbal tea bags. The candy was delicious. (I had to try it for myself)

3rd Birthday Party
I put a little bit more effort than usual for m's 3rd birthday party. I used his favourite toys for the photographs and made up some quick mail-out cards on my mac. I love my computer! Here are the results ...
And here are a few shots of the day. Who'd have thought making a birthday cake would be so difficult. My cake was a disaster, as usual. (My husband now refers to it as my "traditional disaster cake" due to its frequent occurrence). However, the homemade lemonade and curry puffs were a hit.
The postcard invite ...
... and the Thank You cards on which I wrote some personalised messages.
